Meet Your Tutor
Hi there! My name is Kayla, and I am passionate about teaching and inspiring students to become the best version of themselves. I strive to create a positive environment, where students feel safe and welcome. I hold a Masters Degree in Education, specializing in Instruction & Curriculum. I have acquired both CT and NY k-12 teaching certifications.
A few years ago, I had the wonderful opportunity to present and publish my honors research thesis in Elementary Mathematics. I also found a greater passion for writing when publishing my first children's book in 2021 entitled "Making Music At Home With You". Aside from teaching, I am a singer/songwriter, I enjoy cooking, and I love spending time with my dog Bella :)
