Why We Teach

We believe music is necessary to a well-rounded education. Music is universal, which is why we offer lessons in several genres, including pop, classical, musical theatre, jazz, etc. Students of all ages are welcome.

Each lesson is personalized and tailored to the students' interests and goals, in addition to learning fundamental techniques and music theory skills. We use creative methods and activities, such as designing 'music maps' to understand the structure of a piece, or incorporating fun movement into the warm up sequence.

 

It is important for students to have a voice in their education, therefore they have the opportunity to select their repertoire. We strive to challenge students and ensure they are growing in a positive atmosphere. Our promise to you is that we will foster a stress free environment, because music is to be enjoyed!
