Music Lessons
- 01Kx2 Music is a small, family business - when you join us, you join our family! Our talented instructors are multi-instrumentalists, allowing you to learn multiple instruments or combine skills (i.e., voice & piano) in the same lesson. This flexibility lets you build a more diverse musical skill set, whether you want to be a singer-songwriter or a well-rounded performer. We hold multiple performance opportunities throughout the year. Lessons are personalized to your interests, goals, and learning style! We provide the perfect balance of fun and focused. You will level up your musical skills while fostering a love for music!
- 02We offer lessons in Piano, Voice, Guitar (acoustic and electric), Bass (upright and electric), Ukulele, Drums, Violin, Clarinet, and Trumpet at our studio in Stamford CT. Travel Lessons offered for Saxophone, Flute, and Drums in the Greenwich/Stamford CT area. We also offer lessons in Music Theory, Songwriting, and Music Production, as well as Audition Preparation. - 03Yes! Our teachers are experienced in teaching children ages 4 to 84! It's never too late to begin your musical journey. We offer lessons for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students.

- 05Lessons can be 30, 45, or 60 mins, recurring weekly. We are available to teach year-round, with the exception of holidays! Check out our Calendar.(https://www.kx2music.com/calendar)
- 06Absolutely! Performing builds confidence, enhances musical skills, fosters community, develops life skills, and provides a sense of accomplishment. We hold a Fall Showcase, Holiday Show (Juniors Only), and Spring Recital annually. Other opportunities may come about throughout the year, including smaller performances held at the studio. Fall Showcase and Spring Recital are divided into two groups - Young Musicians and Junior Musicians. Fall Showcase and Spring Recital are held in New Canaan. The Holiday Show is held at The Mews Senior Center in Greenwich. Students must be enrolled in Kx2 Music Lessons to be eligible for performance opportunities. New students must complete 10 lessons before participating in performances.
- 07Most instruments can be provided for you at your first lesson! After your introductory lesson, you must provide your own instrument (with the exception of keyboard/piano, though we recommend having one at home to practice on). Most instruments in our inventory are available for rental, with the exception of woodwinds and brass (or any instrument with a mouthpiece) to ensure the highest sanitary standards. We offer rentals for Keyboard, Guitar (Acoustic or Electric), Bass (Electric), Violin, Drum Pad, Ukulele - all $30/month.
- 08Yes, we handle minor repairs for all instruments. Our repair service is complimentary for current students! You are only responsible for the direct cost of replacement parts and materials.

- 10Yes, absolutely! You may start lessons at any point during the year. Register HERE (https://form.jotform.com/231556046077053) Your semester tuition will be prorated. *Please note, you must complete a minimum of 8 lessons to be eligible for an upcoming performance opportunity.*
- 11Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that time and clients miss the opportunity to receive services. Therefore, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required. Lessons cancelled with appropriate notice will be rescheduled. In the case of an emergency, the lesson will be held online or rescheduled at the Teacher's discretion. To maintain a healthy environment, students exhibiting symptoms of illness should not attend in-person lessons. If at any point you would like to permanently change your lesson slot, you must give at least two weeks advance notice. Once you forfeit your time slot, it becomes available to others, and there is no guarantee you will regain the same slot.
- 12Yes! Our Introductory Lessons are 30 mins, at a discounted rate of $45. Please fill out the Registration Form here. (https://form.jotform.com/231556046077053) We can provide an instrument for your Introductory Lesson. After your Introductory Lesson, your lessons will be considered recurring weekly.
- 13Yes! We have many students around the country taking part in our Virtual Studio! Check it out HERE. (https://www.kx2music.com/virtual-studio)
- 14Current Tuition can be found HERE.(https://www.kx2music.com/tuition-packages) We do not have any registration fees! Discounts: -We offer a discounted Introductory Lesson. -Longer lessons have a greater discount. -Receive $100 Discount when you pay the total balance by the first day of the semester! LOYALTY LOCK - Tuition rates do not increase for continuous students! *You may take a break for summer session without worry, but skipping a fall or spring semester will reset your rate!
- 15We accept Card (please note there is 4% tax included with Card payments) or Zelle (Zelle credentials: info@kx2music.com). (info@kx2music.com).)An invoice will be sent to your email. We offer two convenient ways to complete your semester tuition: • Pay in Full: Receive a $100 discount when you pay the total balance by the first day of the semester. • Monthly Plan: Pay via automatic recurring invoices at the beginning of each month. *Card only* All lesson sales are final and must be used within 6 months of purchase.
