My daughter began piano lessons with Kayla at Kx2 Music six months ago. She was a reluctant piano player prior to working with Kayla, but all that changed for the better within a few lessons. Kayla guided my daughter toward music that worked for her to learn, but that she also enjoyed. My daughter began playing some of her favorite songs that Kayla tailored to her level. Performing in front of others became a moment of pride and happiness instead of something to fear when she participated in the fall showcase with the other music students. She greatly looks forward to her weekly lesson and even practices throughout the week without complaint. Kayla is incredibly kind and sweet. We are so happy that we found Kx2 music and look forward to continuing to learn and enjoy playing music!

Kx2 music is the absolute best choice for sparking a love of music in kids and developing skills while having fun! What sets them apart is their ability to make lessons a fun, stress free experience for kids. My son has been taking piano lessons for almost 2 years and has never asked us to quit, he always looks forward to his class! Kx2 also gives students the valuable experience of performing live in front of an audience, building confidence from a young age that translates to other areas of their life. Overall if you want a music class you don’t have to bribe your kid to participate in and if you want their hard work to pay off by experiencing a live show - go with Kx2 music!!
We are so lucky to have found Kurt and kx2 music! My son Nathan takes drum lessons with Kurt. I am always so impressed with how patient Kurt is, and how he is able to find a way to merge the things Nathan loves (cars) with music to keep it interesting. Every week we look forward to our lesson!

Kx2 Music runs an amazing summer camp and the students put on a fun and endearing show at the end of the session. Kayla and Kurt are a great team and it’s wonderful to see the way they encourage the campers to have a love of music and performing on stage. This camp was my daughter’s all time favorite this last summer! Highly recommend.
Kurt and Kayla are amazing. They are wonderful teachers. Both are enthusiastic, patient and wonderful teachers and both my children enjoy their guitar/piano lessons.
After a year of guitar lessons at school where my seven year old could not play a thing and barely hold a guitar, I signed her up for lessons with Kurt at Kx2. Within a month or two she was reading basic notes and playing Mary Had a Little Lamb. I couldn’t believe the progress and the confidence in such a short period. Now we are progressing further and it’s still been under a year. She is already asking for additional lessons in voice and piano because she is actually having FUN while learning. When grandma came late and missed her performance at her concert, they offered to let her go up and play again just so grandma can see her on stage. These are the kind of special attentive people you get with Kurt and Kayla. One of the best decisions I ever made for my child was signing her up for music lessons with Kx2. Kurt and Kayla really are something special that you are not going to get with other music lessons. Can’t wait to see all the future progress! Thanks Kx2!
