My children have been at Kx2 for almost 2 years now, and I love it. Kurt and Kayla are passionate about the lessons they teach and create a fun learning environment. Kids get to pick the music they work on and receive high-quality materials to support their learning. Their facility is really nice as well, with a comfortable waiting area while the kids are in lessons. Highly recommend!
Our daughter Grace loved Kpop camp! Kayla and Kurt are so encouraging, energetic and fun! These are two people that love kids and love what they do. The kids danced for hours a day and had the best time. The whole experience was very confidence building for our daughter. The amazing performance they put on at the end of the week was icing on the cake!
Kayla is a lovely person and an amazing teacher. She has a gentle and warm teaching style, exactly what my daughter needs. Most importantly, Kayla keeps the lessons fun and engaging, with no pressure. My daughter has progressed so much in the past 18 months working with Kayla on piano, I am blown away! In addition to weekly individual lessons, my daughter was also part of a wonderful group class this winter, which Kayla and Kurt worked on together, and was very enjoyable and produced a beautiful set of music videos with the kids. Great teachers, welcoming space, awesome vibes all around. We love this place!
Kayla and Kurt have been wonderful piano teachers for our two kids over the past year. We’ve seen so much growth in both of them, not just in their piano skills, but in their confidence, focus, and excitement around music.
They do a great job keeping lessons structured while still making them fun and engaging. One thing we especially appreciate is how they connect with each child individually and choose music that reflects their interests and personality. That really comes through at the recitals, where each student had a chance to shine in their own way.

We have been with Kurt for years now!!! He is absolutely amazing. You can tell he loves teaching children, it is not a job but his passion. He is extremely versatile and transitioned my son from piano, to acoustic guitar and now electric guitar. I cannot recommend him enough. If you are looking for private lessons Kx2 is the place to be.
Kx2 Music runs an amazing summer camp and the students put on a fun and endearing show at the end of the session. Kayla and Kurt are a great team and it’s wonderful to see the way they encourage the campers to have a love of music and performing on stage. This camp was my daughter’s all time favorite this last summer! Highly recommend.
Kurt and Kayla are amazing. They are wonderful teachers. Both are enthusiastic, patient and wonderful teachers and both my children enjoy their guitar/piano lessons.
After a year of guitar lessons at school where my seven year old could not play a thing and barely hold a guitar, I signed her up for lessons with Kurt at Kx2. Within a month or two she was reading basic notes and playing Mary Had a Little Lamb. I couldn’t believe the progress and the confidence in such a short period. Now we are progressing further and it’s still been under a year. She is already asking for additional lessons in voice and piano because she is actually having FUN while learning. When grandma came late and missed her performance at her concert, they offered to let her go up and play again just so grandma can see her on stage. These are the kind of special attentive people you get with Kurt and Kayla. One of the best decisions I ever made for my child was signing her up for music lessons with Kx2. Kurt and Kayla really are something special that you are not going to get with other music lessons. Can’t wait to see all the future progress! Thanks Kx2!
Kx2 music is the absolute best choice for sparking a love of music in kids and developing skills while having fun! What sets them apart is their ability to make lessons a fun, stress free experience for kids. My son has been taking piano lessons for almost 2 years and has never asked us to quit, he always looks forward to his class! Kx2 also gives students the valuable experience of performing live in front of an audience, building confidence from a young age that translates to other areas of their life. Overall if you want a music class you don’t have to bribe your kid to participate in and if you want their hard work to pay off by experiencing a live show - go with Kx2 music!!
We feel so fortunate to have found Kayla as my daughter’s piano teacher! She is truly amazing and wonderful. In just a few months, my daughter went from not knowing how to play the piano at all to confidently playing a full Disney song.
What makes Kayla stand out is her unique approach to teaching. She is not like a traditional piano teacher who starts with only classical music. Kayla is an absolutely wonderful violin teacher! She makes every lesson fun, engaging, and well-structured, and my 10-year-old daughter truly looks forward to her lessons each week.

My daughter began piano lessons with Kayla at Kx2 Music six months ago. She was a reluctant piano player prior to working with Kayla, but all that changed for the better within a few lessons. Kayla guided my daughter toward music that worked for her to learn, but that she also enjoyed. My daughter began playing some of her favorite songs that Kayla tailored to her level. Performing in front of others became a moment of pride and happiness instead of something to fear when she participated in the fall showcase with the other music students. She greatly looks forward to her weekly lesson and even practices throughout the week without complaint. Kayla is incredibly kind and sweet. This place is truly something great. As an adult who had no piano experience, Jack was wonderful! He was patient, kind, and made me feel so comfortable. He is a fantastic teacher and artist, so learning from him was a real joy.
Communicating back and forth with Kx2 was incredibly easy. Kayla and Kurt never let one of my emails slip by, and their responses were quick and thoughtful. I never felt stressed about my busy schedule because Kayla worked with my availability so I never fell behind. Along with their high level of professionalism, they were all really lovely people. My two daughters take piano lessons with Kayla and she is an incredible teacher! They've learned so much, and she has the best demeanor with them which made them immediately love her. They're always excited to go to class. One of my kids also took the vocal remix group class and had an absolute blast! I'm so grateful we found Kayla and Kx2!
Kx2 has been a transformative experience for my son, I give them my highest recommendation! Kurt and Kayla are consummate professionals, bringing warmth, fun, and a high level of experience. My son has been attending summer camp for two years with Kx2, including the highlight of our last summer, as he was part of the two week theatre summer program, The Little Mermaid. They put on a full program with costumes, scenery, lighting etc. There was no part too big or too small at Kx2, they were a true team, and each child valued for their individual strengths. As a parent, it was pure magic to see my son grow into a true theatre kid, with confidence and poise! My son also takes voice lessons with Kurt, and he looks forward to these lessons all week, and is already asking about next summer!
My experience here has been amazing! Iv’e been going here for about a year now and Kayla, Kurt, and my music teacher Jack are absolute gems. They meet you at your level, make you feel comfortable and there’s no pressure, just growth and boosting confidence. Jack is an amazing teacher. he focuses on what kind of music I want to sing and knows exactly what works for my voice and at my level. There’s so much good to say about the great music teachers, though I only have Jack as mine, both Kayla and Kurt give me opportunities for growth from time to time.
